Item description

Description: Lespedeza capitata, commonly known as Round-Headed Bush Clover, is a native North American wildflower with erect, branching stems and round, white to cream-colored flower clusters that bloom in late summer to early fall. The leaves are trifoliate, with small, oval leaflets that have a silvery-green hue. Care: Sunlight: Full sun to partial shade. Soil: Prefers well-drained, sandy or rocky soil; tolerant of poor soil conditions. Watering: Drought-tolerant once established; water occasionally during prolonged dry periods. Maintenance: Low-maintenance; cut back old stems in early spring to promote new growth. Additional Information: Attracts: Bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. Uses: Erosion control, native plant gardens, and prairie restoration projects. Benefits: Nitrogen-fixing plant that improves soil fertility.
