The remote battery compartment had old batteries stored in it. So that needs to be cleaned out. It does work perfectly fine without cleaning it as I have tested this to work perfect with fresh batteries. The box is damaged as shown. And it comes from a home with a shedding pet. So some pet hair is stuck to the packaging. The train track is completely clean. The train track put together forms an oval at 50" x 73". There's lights on the locomotive. The locomotive has two different train sounds. And Woody says a couple different sayings along with the toy story train song. The locomotive needs batteries, and the remote needs batteries both of which are not included. I do not try to clean my listings. They are sold as is in a final sale.
