Item description

Product Name : Lord Natraja In Pure Solid Copper Weight : 275 gms Dimension : 4.25 inches (Height) / 1.5 inches * 1.5 inches (Base) Design : Lord Natraja Made in Pure Copper is artistically crafted in solid copper by skilled artisans of South India. Nataraja dances with his left foot supported by a crouching figure and his right foot slightly raised. The multiple arms represent the four cardinal directions. Two hands hold the Damru and arch of flames and other two hands makes a specific mudra. Description : Shiva, the Hindu god of destruction is also known as Nataraja, the Lord of Dancers. Shiva dances on the body of a dwarf apasmara-purusha (the man of forgetfulness) who embodies indifference, ignorance and laziness. He dances within an arch of flames. This dance is called the Dance of Bliss. The ring of fire and light, identifies the field of the dance with the entire universe.
