This fabulous PoppyTrail pottery pear shaped fruit bowl or large serving bowl is a mid-century modern piece made in California. I don't have any information as to why the name Metlox is associated with Poppytrail and I cannot say what decade this vintage bowl is from. The large bowl is approximately 8-5/8" wide x 12" long x 3" tall. It is a nice heavy bowl that weighs over 2 pounds. Good Condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. Shipping may be a bit high, depending how far it needs to ship, because it weighs over 3 pounds with a box and packing material.
