Vintage original 27x41 in. US single-sided advance one-sheet poster from the classic 1980's boxing-themed biopic, RAGING BULL, released in 1980 by United Artists and directed by Martin Scorsese. The life of boxer Jake LaMotta, whose violence and temper that led him to the top in the ring destroyed his life outside of it, is brilliantly portrayed by Robert De Niro in his Academy Award-winning performance. This advance one-sheet was issued for display at theaters before the film was released in the US. The image features a dramatic black-and-white close shot of boxer Jack La Motta (Robert De Niro), the artwork of which was designed by artist Kunio Hagio, which reflects the film's black-and-white cinematography. Unrestored and rolled as originally issued, this vintage original single-sided advance one-sheet poster is in very fine- condition with one light 8 in. semi-diagonal parallel crease through the "N" and the "G" in the bottom right panel that extend downwards to the border, which of which are fairly unobtrusive.
