NEWPORT GIMBAL Mirror/Lens Adjustable Mount with micrometers (HEAVY DUTY) Description: nice true GIMBAL mount removed from High School laser lab allows for nice adjustments around the axis center. It holds 2" lenses (52mm), but with proper adapter you can reduce this diameter to the one you wish (your adapter can be printed with your 3D printer, for instance). Clear aperture around 47mm. Micrometer screws are 100 TPI. Lens or mirror is fixed in place with a special screw with rubber tip (see last pic). Micrometers can be easily turned to allow for easy and customized reading of the micrometer lettering. Very fine adjustment allowed. They are very sturdy (HEAVY DUTY!). These weight about 1 Kg each! Measures: see pics (data in mm). At the bottom there are two holes 6,7mm Ø that allow it to be fixed to breadboard or platform. Condition: normal usage marks. Nice working condition. Micrometers are soft and do their job nicely. Note: these items have been de-greased, cleaned, re-greased (with special oil better than original grease) and checked for missing or damaged parts.
