The item is made of hand carved wood (see photos). The item is not marked by a maker (see photos). The item is from an estate liquidation. I am not sure of the tribal affiliation or the country of origin. I will guess that it may be African in origin from the Democratic Republic of Congo Lega people. The item measures about 8.5 inches high, it is about 2 inches from the front side to the back side and it is about 5 inches wide from side to side.
