This is an original vintage 1978 SUPERMAN MOVIE POSTER, the film that featured late actor CHRISTOPHER REEVE as the Man of Steel. This Superman poster was NOT FOR SALE DIRECTLY TO THE PUBLIC. It was a premium poster/promotional poster, and you could only get one of them if you purchased specially marked grocery store products back in the 1970's like "Spic and Span" floor cleaner, Bounce laundry fabric sheets, Safeguard deodorant soap, and Comet Cleanser. SIZE: This action adventure pin-up poster measures about 22 inches by 17 1/2 inches, it shows the year 1978 on it, and it shows the DC Comics trademark and copyright information. It's a ROLLED poster, and was never folded, so it'll look great if you choose to display it or frame it. CONDITION (see photo): This scarce 70's Superman movie premium promo poster was never displayed, but it does have tanning discoloration on the back side of the poster from all the decades in storage, and it has crinkling of the paper in the lower right corner area, otherwise this poster would be in "fine/very fine" condition (using comic book grading terms). I'm 100 percent certain that many collectors and sellers would grade this poster higher, but I prefer to grade more conservatively.
