Porpax orchids are gaining more and more popularity due to attractive growing habit, their creeping patterned pseudobulbs are pretty even without the blooms, and the flower itself is stunning dark purple color and pretty large for miniature species. They go completely dormant for the winter time and must be kept dry with only light misting every 5-7 days to initiate blooms. Grows best under hot to intermediate conditions, in bright filtered light, very good air movement, good watering and fertilizing in active growing season.
