It is an affordable, easy-to-use storage solution that allows you to take advantage of the unused overhead space in your garage. Use multiple sets to easily expand the system and fully declutter and organize your garage or storage space. It is recommended that you use high quality heavy-duty storage bins or tubs that feature reinforced ribs under the edge rail or flange. Tools needed for installation include a stud finder, pencil or marker, drill, 5/32 inch drill bit and 10 mm. socket with drill adapter. Lag bolts must be centered on a ceiling joist stud to ensure the Tote Trac system is installed securely. The Tote Trac system is also fully scalable. Each 2 piece set of Tote Trac in the package can support storage bins on either side, which allows for maximum customization of storage space by using multiple sets in tandem. For example, 1 set can support 2 bins, but 2 sets can support a total of six 12 gallon bins that are sized 15 inch x 21 inch (2 bins can be supported within each set and an additional 2 bins can be supported in between each of the 2 sets). This arrangement can be extended across your storage space as needed. Limit weight to a maximum of 50 lbs. per tote and 25 pounds per J- hook. Total weight on an individual piece of Tote Trac racking should not exceed 100 lbs. (200 lbs. for a set).
