Vintage original 27 x 41 in. US one-sheet poster from the classic 1980's boxing-themed biopic, RAGING BULL, released in 1980 by United Artists and directed by Martin Scorsese. This gritty portrayal of the life of boxer Jake LaMotta, whose violence and temper led him to the top in the ring, destroyed his life outside of it, earned Robert De Niro the Academy Award for "Best Actor." The artwork was designed by Kunio Hagio and features and one of the most recognizable movie poster images from the 1980's and depicts a large black-and-white portrait of DeNiro as Jake LaMotta, whose face is battered and bruised, with the only color being the star's name and film's title rendered in a bright red. Unrestored and folded as originally issued, this vintage original one-sheet poster was never used and is in very fine+ condition without any pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.
