Item description

The Aristo-Tone 6-Transistor AM Radio is a vintage portable radio introduced in the 1960s. It was manufactured by Aristo (Aristo-Tone) of New York. Replaced e-caps as old ones were more resistor than capacitor and diminished volume greatly. It is VERY loud on strong stations now. AM broadcast only. Operates on a 9-volt battery. Made of durable plastic Earphone jack Appreciated by collectors for its historical significance and design as it represents the era when transistor radios became widely accessible, allowing people to enjoy portable entertainment on the go.
