A rape victim (Sondra Locke) is exacting revenge on her aggressors in a small town outside San Francisco. "Dirty" Harry Callahan (Clint Eastwood), on suspension for angering his superiors (again), is assigned to the case. The cast includes Pat Hingle, Bradford Dillman, Paul Drake, Audrie Neenan, and Jack Thibeau. The image features a close shot of "Dirty" Harry Callahan (Clint Eastwood) with the skyline of San Francisco behind him as seen through a bullet-shattered window. Unrestored and folded as originally issued, this vintage original one-sheet is in very fine- condition with only light signs of wear on each corner. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws and the rich color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading. Sudden Impact was the only "Dirty Harry" movie directed by Clint Eastwood and became the highest-grossing of the Dirty Harry film franchise. Charles B. Pierce wrote the line, "Go ahead, make my day," which was inspired by a warning that his father would say to Pierce when he was a child. According to Pierce, his father warned him, "When I come home tonight and the yard has not been mowed, you're gonna make my day." "Go ahead, make my day" was voted as the number six movie quote by the American Film Institute (out of one hundred).
