Vintage original 27x41 in. US single-sided one-sheet poster from the classic 1980's musical comedy, THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS, released in 1982 by Universal Pictures, written and directed by Colin Higgins. Based upon the play by Larry L. King and Peter Masterson, a town's Sheriff (Burt Reynolds), and regular patron of a historical whorehouse, fights to keep it running when a television reporter targets it as the Devil's playhouse. The cast includes Dolly Parton, Dom DeLuise, Charles Durning, and Jim Neighbors. The design features beautiful artwork created by Dan Goozee and features a close shot of Burt Reynolds in handcuffs as Dolly Parton happily holds the key, along with a whacked-out Dom DeLuise, a scene from a musical number, and...girls! Rolled and unrestored as originally issued, it is in very fine condition with just a few random areas of light wear on the edges. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, writing, or other flaws.
