THE LAST HERO: CHARLES A. LINDBERGH BY WALTER S. ROSS HARDBACK DUST JACKET. By Harper Row, 1968. 400 pages. Book Club Edition. The hardcover book itself is in LIKE NEW condition. It is very clean. It has no remainder mark and no internal markings. The text block (deckle edge pages) of the book are in good solid condition – only minimal staining/foxing to the top block of the pages. The pages of the book are quite clean and bright. They are in great condition, including the illustrations in the middle of the book. The boards and binding are in excellent condition – no issues at all. They are still nice and tight. The New York Times reprint endpapers are in great shape as well. The book has no previous owner’s name inside it. It has no unpleasant odor other than the standard “old book smell”. The dust jacket is in GOOD condition. There are no major tears but as can be seen from the pictures provided, there is considerable chipping. The worst areas of chipping have already been repaired from the inside of the jacket. The jacket has not been clipped and is fully intact. There are no stickers or any sticker residue on the jacket. The jacket is quite clean.
