The title page is particularly colourful, and features a b w picture of the author-curator himself posing with two porcelain lions. Complete with all 102 plates, displaying in full-colour print artistic treasures from ancient China, some of which identify, or identified, among 'the most valuable antiquities in the world'. This collection of art was hand-selected by Star Talbot, famous scholar and collector of Chinese art, who also writes the preface. As well as being printed in English and Chinese, the preface is translated into French, Spanish, German and Japanese.
