EVANS WRISTLET ART DECO STYLE MAKE-UP CIGARETTE CASE COMBO Evans Elegance Art Deco Style Double Sided Make-up Compact Cigarette Case Gold Color Mesh Handle This fabulous estate sale find is a vintage 1950s MCM Art Deco Style gold tone wristlet by the Evans Case Company. It is marked Evans Elegance. It measures approximately 5 inches by 3 inches and is 1 inch deep. One side is where you would have put your cigarettes or a hanky, the other a face powder compartment with the remnants of the makeup, the holder for a comb (missing the comb), powder puff area (missing the powder puff) a place to put your lipstick which is missing the lid and still has lipstick stains in it, a coin holder that is missing the lid, and the mirror. The mirror silver needs to be resilvered near the bottom center. The outside case and mesh handle are good with minor wear as indicated (please see photos), it does have some darker age spots typical of items this age. I have made no attempt to clean or polish anything on the case(see my pictures for details). Being sold in AS IS condition, this is still a great Evans wristlet carry all and can be displayed as is, refurbished with replacement parts, or use as parts to repair another similar case.
