Keroppi is a fantastic swimmer and singer (but not at the same time!) Real Name: Hasunoe Keroppi Birthday: July 10th Hometown: Donut Pond ?This adorable 1997 year SUPER RARE 26? inch nylon Sanrio Keroppi Was Purchased by me in the mid 2000?s from Paramounts Kings Island Amusement Park In Mason Ohio ?Prior to the ownership change of the park, and Paramount being removed from it?s name?, It was used as a store display there for many years, until they closed the store, and this was sitting in the highest part of the Sanrio store there with the smaller Keroppi plush animals, he sat by a window and the light faded him. ?He was there since at least 1997 to the mid 2000s, It was rare then due to the size and it was for display only not for sale, and it?s still rare today even in this condition. It was the only one and used as a display and they only sold it to me due to the store closing. And the employees saw me all the time as back then I was a major collector, with a Season Pass so right place right time. He has been on many trips and adventures, and moves all over the east coast with me and now it?s time for me to part with him, I hope someone can restore him. But that?s the true back story on him. ?Measurements and Condition Details Selling AS IS: ?He measures approximately over 26 1/2? inches tall from highest part of the head (eyeball) to his bottom while sitting flat. See photo. Width wise he measures approx 21? inches wide from most outer part of foot. VERY RARE in this size! ??Condition details: it?s in poor to fair vintage shape, It?s been in storage in a plastic bag many years so unfortunately the condition isn?t good, selling as is and I am listing this honestly. The tag is still somewhat legible on one side which shows the date, and reads ?distributed in the US, by Sanrio inc, made in china copyright logo 1988 1997 on it, has other writing on it but this is the most legible I can make out, the other side of the white tag is faded and cannot be read. It does have some rips and tears due to the age and storage see photos some are small, the one behind the neck with the badtz maru bandaids is larger and I put this on there many years ago when I noticed the tear to keep it from getting worse then back in the bag he went, but it does have an old smell, it does have stains and spots it does have a mildew like smell and little circles like stains on back of head as shown, body has some stains, it could be reconditioned and brought back to life, he needs a good home, I feel bad for storing him wrong, so my fault.
