Description
Vintage Chalk Ware Nativity Figures, King Melchior, King Caspar, Circa 1940s, No Markings, EXCELLENT Vintage Condition. These two Magi figures are part of a nativity set; they date from the 1940s and are not cheaper version of the Italian made paper-mache figures., they are very well made and are hand painted with extreme detailing and vibrant colors. Their faces, hands, clothing and gifts are more realistic than their paper-mache cousins. The were given to me by a gentleman who purchased them in Italy.
