Item description

Vintage original 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1960's made-for-TV remake of the classic 1950 western drama, WINCHESTER 73, broadcast in 1967 and directed by Herschel Daugherty with cinematography by Bud Thackery. Two cousins - one an ex-con and the other a law officer - compete for possession of a famed repeating rifle. The cast includes Tom Tryon, John Saxon, Dan Duryea, John Drew Barrymore, Joan Blondell, John Dehner and Paul Fix. The image features a great black-and-white close shot of Joan Blondell as "Larouge". It is in very fine- condition with various signs of light wear on the corners. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, writing, or other flaws. Duryea and John Doucette also appeared in the original 1950 theatrical version, of which this is a remake.
