Item description

Not asking too much at all for this quality collector's item which has less aging than most and will outlast any of us. Actual photo about 6 5/8" x 8 7/8" pasted down onto two overlapping paper mats, the assembly mounted on the larger background mat. Great condition frame molding in what might be deemed either a tame revival or pre-deco style, really it is fairly basic but more than appropriate in form and tone for the subject. Frame about 12 1/4" x 15 1/4", ready to hang with much newer hanger wire. The soldier has a "US" and crossed rifles with regiment number set of devices on his collar but I cannot read the number. It seems what came out best is the boots which are in superb focus and contrast and if you want the best ever photo of WWI-30's boots you might have it. Will ship anywhere in the USA but not intending to take it apart. Cost all depends on your distance. Too tall for a flat rate box.
