Can you believe they say I'm one of the premier living designers of collectible figurines now? Those are pretty lofty words for a kid making souvenirs and telling stories to tourists in good, old Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where I grew up ... but those souvenirs made "Hevener Figurines" known all over the world before the internet was even invented. Since then, my adventures in business and with the animals I have known took me to countries and love so great I could never have imagined its scope or passion. No, people are not alike ... that much I've learned ... but for as long as I live, I'll do my best to express the good ... the bad ... and the wonderful.
