Vintage 80s Alyce Designs Red Silk Sequin and 50 similar items

This is a stunning glam...and totally glam...vintage 80s pageant gown by Alyce Designs. Marked a size 6, but it fits my size 2 (32 - 27 - 35.5) mannequin perfectly. Silk chiffon. Sweetheart neckline. Cap sleeves with fringe overlay. Fitted bodice has bra pads, and is embellished with silver bugle and seed beads, and sequins. Large floral motif at side front, in pink sequins, with a jewel center. Fitted pencil skirt with sprays of silver bugle beads, and allover red sequins. Back has a dramatic cutout, with hook eyes at neck, zipper below. Back slit. In excellent condition. It required some loving renovation - there was an indelible stain on the back skirt that I covered with matching lace and sequins. Not noticeable. From a smoke free home. Marked a size 6, but smaller - it fits my size 2 mannequin perfectly. The manni measures 32 - 27 - 35.5 100% silk chiffon over rayon lining. Sweetheart neckline. Cap sleeves with fantastic fringe overlay, done in silver bugle beads. The fringe sways and sparkles as you move. The fitted bodice is embellished with silver flashed bugle and seed beads, and red translucent sequins. Padded bra pads inside. At the waist, a large floral motif in pink sequins, with a jewel center. Fitted pencil skirt with dramatic sprays of silver bugle beads, and allover translucent red sequins. The back has a dramatic cutout, with hook and eyes at neck, zipper below. Back embellished with beads and sequins. Back slit. Fully lined. No shoulder pads. Such a stunning dress - really over the top and totally glamorous! In excellent condition. It required some loving renovation - there was an indelible stain on the back skirt that I covered with matching lace and sequins. It blends in well. I also salvaged some beads and sequins from the inside of the hem and replaced any that were missing in the design. Immaculately clean and ready to wear. From a smoke free home.
