USN Navy Vintage WWII Saipan Original and 26 similar items

Paper size of this direct photo print is 3 1/4" x 4 1/2". This print was very likely made soon after it was taken and likely at Saipan itself or on a ship there. This came to me as part of a group identified as being Saipan and included was a shot of the base Chapel which confirms it. The exact date was not noted and as the island is listed in Guinness as being the most consistent climate we can't really tell what time of year this is. Excellent shot of a group of Navy men both enlisted and officers in front of what might be some kind of landing craft. Very Good condition, it has two light creases but as you can see they don't affect the ability to obtain an image. The paper is a little aged. Free shipping to USA, anywhere else $2.00.
