Vintage Ornate Aurora MFG. CO. Footed and 50 similar items

Offered here is this Vintage Aurora Triple Silver plated Warranted 1822 Basket. I am unsure of its exact age, but it was made by the Aurora Manufacturing Company. It is pattern number 1822. It has a beautiful, ornate handle with cut-out design of two birds and a lovely floral engraved pattern on it as well. Unfortunately, the basket has a hole burned in one side of it. I am not sure exactly how this may have happened. The basket is otherwise in good condition, however, it is very tarnished and has a lot of wear to the finish, particularly on the inside bottom of the bowl. The basket stands 4.75" tall at the edge, 12.5" tall with the handle up at the top of the handle, is 7.5" in diameter across with width, and 10" in diameter across her portion where the rim flares out. The bowl is about 2.5" deep. It has a beautiful, ornate design, and is a lovely bowl for display that would make a nice centerpiece bowl in spite of the damage on the side, which could be hidden by the arrangement inside.
